This is your chance to learn from an expert about the many birds who frequent these wetlands. Meet your guide in Bolsa Chica’s south parking lot on Pacific Coast Highway halfway between Warner Avenue and Seapoint Street (across from the entrance to Bolsa Chica State Beach).

This protected 1,400-acre reserve annually provides nesting and feeding sites for thousands of birds, making it one of the prime Southern California sites for birders. The Amigos de Bolsa Chica also offer a wetland tour on the first Saturday of the month and a quarterly nature hike.
