The Los Angeles County Fair was on track Sunday to close, and the midway lights will once again be dimmed until next season.

According to the LA County Fair Director of Communications, Renee Hernandez, there were several standout items at this year’s fair.
“The dog show was a big hit — guests loved it and had opportunities to greet the dogs and ask questions after each show,” Hernandez said in a statement.
The Cutest Dog Show on Earth was new to the fair this year, featuring over 20 rescue dogs that performed their best tricks for the adoring crowds.

As for food, among the endless fried options, a fruit item drew in guests.
“The big food item, totally unexpected, was the chocolate-covered frozen grapes,” she said.
From new shows, more food, and one last roll around the skating rink, the fair brought the fun for the start of summer.
The next theme announcement is expected in early June, and preparation for the 2027 fair will begin again.
