Cal State Fullerton commencement ceremonies were held May 18-21 on campus. More than 11,000 graduates and candidates for graduation were eligible to celebrate the milestone of earning their bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.

Notable award recipients included counseling grad Grace Schroeder, named the Outstanding Graduate Student, and Haneefah Syed, honored as the Outstanding Senior.
Education scholar James D. Anderson, the Edward William and Jane Gutgsell Professor Emeritus and Dean Emeritus of the College of Education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, was the recipient of this year’s honorary Doctor of Humane Letters.
