Noteworthy: He won the 100 meters, was on the Friars’ victorious 4×100 relay team and finished fifth in the 200 in the CIF State Track and Field Championships in Clovis. His wind-aided time of 10.14 seconds in the 100 is the second-fastest time in that event under all conditions in the state this season. The 4×100 time (39.73) nearly matched Servite’s state-record 39.70 set in April. His fifth-place finish in the 200 earned points that helped Servite win the team championship.
