Wednesday’s Angels STEAM Day brought more than 3,500 students from around Southern California to Angel Stadium for lessons in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics and how they affect hitting, running and throwing.

Students learned about these concepts at nine activity stations. Then they headed into the stadium to see them in action as the Angels played the White Sox.

This was the second time this season the Angels partnered with Science of Sport for the program.
