The Grammy Award-winning artist announced that Daisy Chain Fields will debut Aug. 29 at Great Park in Irvine. Net proceeds from the festival will benefit nonprofit organizations focused on advancing women and girls, according to organizers.

Rodrigo will headline the festival alongside performances by Bikini Kill, Die Spitz, Eli, Garbage, KATSEYE, Mitski, Not For Radio, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri, Santigold and The Breeders. Special guests Karen O, Sarah McLachlan and Stevie Nicks are also scheduled to appear.

“Daisy Chain Fields is a music festival founded on the belief that joy, community, and creativity can inspire meaningful change. It affirms that music and collective experience can serve as enduring drivers of progress and social change. It’s a place where inspiration and curiosity lead to knowledge, strength, and action,” Rodrigo shared in a statement. “The festival celebrates the voices, artistry, and contributions of women in music, fostering an inclusive environment in which all are welcome. Daisy Chain offers more than live performances; it provides opportunities for education, dialogue, and engagement around issues affecting women and girls in the United States and globally.”

Beyond live music, the festival will feature nonprofit activations, educational resources, community art experiences, local vendors, fan pop-ups and immersive installations. Organizers said attendees will have opportunities to connect with organizations working in areas including reproductive rights, maternal health, economic empowerment, domestic violence prevention and gender equity.

Among the nonprofit partners announced are Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women’s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.

Festival maps released by organizers indicate the event will be spread across two stages: the Marigold Stage and the Dandelion Stage. Based on those maps, the Marigold Stage appears to utilize the existing Great Park Live venue, while the Dandelion Stage appears to be planned for a nearby open field, expanding the festival footprint beyond the current concert site.

Tickets will be available through a presale beginning at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 24. Fans can sign up for presale access through a passcode via SMS or email at daisychainfields.com.
