UCLA senior forward Tyler Bilodeau was chosen by the Brooklyn Nets with the 43rd overall pick in the second round of the NBA draft on Wednesday night. He will reportedly sign a two-way contract with the team.

The 6-foot-8 Bilodeau averaged 13.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game in his 128-game college career. He spent his first two seasons at Oregon State before excelling in his final two seasons at UCLA, where he averaged 15.5 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in 64 games.
Bilodeau, 22, led UCLA in scoring each of the past two seasons. He averaged 17.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in 2025-26, earning third-team All-Big Ten Conference honors for the second straight year. He shot 51.8% from the field and led the Big Ten in 3-point shooting percentage as a senior, knocking down 46.4% from behind the arc on 5.4 attempts per game. He also shot 87.3% from the free-throw line.

“He’s a versatile player who really improved his 3-point stroke during his two years in Westwood,” UCLA coach Mick Cronin said in a statement after the draft. “I can’t wait to see him take that next step with Brooklyn. All of us at UCLA are so proud of him.”
Bilodeau, whose wingspan measured nearly 7-1 at the NBA’s pre-draft combine, missed most of the last four games of his senior season after suffering a knee injury during a Big Ten Tournament quarterfinal upset of Michigan State.
