Multiple search warrants were being served in Orange County Wednesday morning, April 29, as part of an investigation by the Drug Enforcement Administration, authorities said, but no additional details were immediately released.

The federal agency confirmed multiple searches were underway related to an ongoing drug enforcement investigation through a spokesperson, but “since this is an ongoing investigation, no further information is available.”
One of the locations was on Steeplechase in Irvine, according to the Irvine Police Department, who said around 6:40 a.m. that the investigation was being conducted by an outside agency and was not immigration related.

Steeplechase is a street in a guard-gated community in Orchard Hills.
Multiple media outlets showed aerial footage of what appeared to be agents also serving a search warrant on Wednesday morning in Tustin.
