Santa Margarita claimed its second title in three years at the Girls High School Golf National Invitational on Monday.
The Eagles combined over three days to card a 20-under-par score of 836 and dominate the field at Pinehurst Resort in North Carolina.
Santa Margarita, the reigning CIF State champion, was the only team to break par in the event, which featured state champions from across the United States.
The Eagles outdistanced runner-up North Carolina by 26 strokes.
Dartmouth commit Angelina Tao paced Santa Margarita by tying for third with a 7-under-par score of 207. The recent high school graduate shot a 68 at Pinehurst No. 1 on Sunday.

Emily Song (6-under, tied for fifth), Nora Qu (5-under, tied for seventh) and Donina Zhou (2-under, tied for 11th) each finished under-par to place high on the leaderboard for the Eagles.
In the fall, Zhou earned Orange County player of the year. The senior-to-be is committed to Princeton.
Song, a senior-to-be who is committed to Yale, shot a 66 at Pinehurst No. 5 on Saturday.
Santa Margarita coach Jill Hegna said her squad arrived at the event July 8 to practice.

The Eagles won the invitational in 2024 in Texas.
