Four incoming freshmen football players who have each received college offers have enrolled at Santa Margarita.
Linebacker Aydan Steen, wide receiver Kiyan Callis, running back Jayden Jack and edge Kaleb Herndon have enrolled at the Trinity League school, Eagles athletic director Donald Evans recently confirmed.
Steen (6-2, 210), Callis (5-10, 170), Jack (5-11, 190) and Herndon (6-5, 235) have each received multiple college offers. USC has offered all four before they play their first high school game.
Steen, Callis and Jack played for Santa Margarita during the Battle at the Beach passing tournament on July 11 at Edison.

“We got some really players in that (freshman) class,” said Eagles coach Carson Palmer, whose team lost to eventual champion St. John Bosco 31-13 in the quarterfinals of the tournament. “There’s some freshmen who are going to need to play early (this season).”
Santa Margarita continues its preparation for the season Saturday at Mission Viejo’s South County passing tournament.
Last season, the Eagles claimed CIF-SS Division 1 and CIF State Open Division championships.
