The OC Fair enters the last week of its 23-day run today, Wednesday, Aug. 11, with a full schedule of fun.

The destruction continues in the Action Sports Arena with five more nights of themed demolition derby events, many involving local law enforcement, first responders and community members. Several popular tribute bands will be taking The Hangar stage this week and the Pacific Amphitheatre has Dwight Yoakam and Colbie Caillat returning to the lineup among other headliners.
The beautiful black Friesian horses will be back among the animals on display in the livestock area, where you can also watch goat milking demonstrations this week. The Centennial Farm also has its barnyard residents out welcoming visitors.
Fairgoers have been enjoying the immersive “REWIND: VHS Comeback” exhibit, which pays homage to retro pop culture with hand-painted replicas of vintage movie posters, soundtrack displays, a 1980s arcade and more. Its movie scene photo opps have been a big hit.

The adventurous have kept the midway packed and tasted their way through the fair’s indulgent and experimental menus. Free entertainment is also scheduled day and night through the last day on Sunday, Aug. 16.
The fair is open 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday and 11 a.m. to midnight on Friday and Saturday. General admission is $13 on Wednesday and Thursday and $18 on Friday and the weekend, but $9 every day for children 6-12 and $10 for seniors 65 and older.
