Honore (5-10, 175) steadily claimed the ranks in his three seasons at Mater Dei.
Last fall, he finished as the Monarchs’ fourth-leading wide receiver with 23 catches for 368 yards and two touchdowns.
Honore also served as the team’s top kickoff returner and made first-team All-Trinity League.

As a sophomore, he had 23 receptions for 353 yards and six TDs as Mater Dei went undefeated en route to CIF-SS Division 1 and CIF State Open Division titles.
This season, Honore is Mater Dei’s lone returning starting wide receiver.
The team is working with multiple quarterbacks and expected to employ defensive standouts DJ Clanton and Ace Leutele on offense.
Honore was formerly committed to Georgia and holds numerous offers, including Michigan, Colorado and Texas Tech.
Mater Dei opens its season Friday by playing host to American Fork of Utah (1-0) at Santa Ana Stadium.
