Name: Kate Meier
School: JSerra
Sport: Flag football
Year: Sophomore
Noteworthy: Meier completed 79 percent of her passes for 639 yards and 10 touchdowns to lead the top-ranked Lions to victories against Woodbridge and Edison. She completed 30 of 41 attempts for 349 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-21 win against Woodbridge. Meier was 27 of 31 for 290 yards and five TDs in a 41-6 triumph against Edison. The victories pushed JSerra’s record to 8-0.
