This week’s Orange County girls volleyball rankings:
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL TOP 10

1. Mater Dei 5-0 (1): The Monarchs swept Corona Centennial and Redondo Union last week. They will be home against Mira Costa on Thursday and play in the Dave Mohs Memorial Tournament that stars Friday at Edison.

2. Newport Harbor 9-0 (4): The red-hot Sailors swept Millikan and San Clemente last week. They will play in the Mohs tournament on Friday and Saturday.
3. Santa Margarita 6-2 (2): The Eagles last week beat Laguna Beach in four sets and swept Trabuco Hills. They play Mira Costa on Tuesday and are in the Mohs tournament. Santa Margarita is in the same tournament pool as Marymount of Los Angeles.
4. Crean Lutheran 11-0 (6): The Saints are coming off a great week in which they got five-set victories over JSerra and San Juan Hills and also swept Sage Hill.
5. San Juan Hills 2-7 (5): Don’t be dismayed by the Stallions’ record. They have played a challenging schedule that included a five-set loss to Crean Lutheran last week and previous losses to Harvard-Westlake and Santa Margarita. They are in Division 1 for the Mohs tournament for a reason.
6. Orange Lutheran 9-1 (7): The Lancers have not lost since dropping their season opener to Newport Harbor. MaxPreps’ rankings have Orange Lutheran at No. 3 in the state behind No. 1 Sierra Canyon and No. 2 Mater Dei.

7. JSerra 3-5 (8): This is another team with a sub-.500 record that has played a difficult schedule. The Lions had a five-set loss to Crean Lutheran last week and previous losses to Santa Margarita, Mira Costa and Sierra Canyon.
8. Corona del Mar 11-1 (9): The Sea Kings have won seven in a row including last week’s sweeps of Fountain Valley and Tesoro. They will play in the Mohs tournament.
9. Los Alamitos 4-2 (3): After back-to-back losses to Mater Dei and Long Beach Poly, the Griffins put together back-to-back wins over Millikan and Huntington Beach.
10. Beckman 14-3 (Not ranked): The Patriots have early-season wins over Laguna Beach and Trabuco Hills, and losses to highly-ranked Orange Lutheran and Crean Lutheran.
