The restaurant is part of the first phase to open at The Canopy, a 12-acre shopping center in development at the Great Park Neighborhoods. The address is 7900 Great Park Blvd.
The dining room will seat 84 customers, with room for 36 more on the patio, according to a news release from the chain. The drive-thru can handle 33 vehicles, starting with two lanes and narrowing to one at the pickup window, according to the master plan approved by the city’s planning commission in 2023.
The restaurant will be managed by Jonah Halverson and have about 70 employees with salaries starting at $22 per hour, the release said. Hours will be 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

This location will be No. 443 in the chain. A recent opening in Twin Falls, Idaho, was followed by tragedy when three people were killed by a lone shooter, including Ashley Garibay, who worked at Stockton’s In-N-Out and was there in support of the new employees. Owner and president Lynsi Snyder mourned the losses on social media, and In-N-Out fans have created an unofficial off-the-menu item called “Ashley’s burger” or “Ashley’s way,” which is “tomato wrapped” instead of being built on a bun.
In-N-Out has restaurants in 10 states. Its headquarters are currently in Irvine, but the company has announced that in coming years it will relocate to its hometown, Baldwin Park, and open eastern headquarters in suburban Nashville, where a new office complex is expected to open by the end of the year.
In-N-Out has several new locations in the works in Southern California communities, including Chino, Woodland Hills and the City of Commerce. This week it added South El Monte to the “opening soon” page on its website. The address is 1221 Santa Anita Ave. According to representatives, it is “progressing through construction.”
