The open-air Tustin shopping center announced that five new spots are expected to open before the end of the year, with an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant and Yemeni coffee shop arriving first, followed by Vietnamese and Chinese eateries and a karaoke lounge for singing and libations.
The additions are part of the center’s push to expand its dining and entertainment offerings, according to Patrick Brady, vice president of leasing at Vestar. Specific opening dates have yet to be announced by the center.
Here’s what’s in store:
Niku Sushi: Slated to open in November, Niku will offer all-you-can-eat dining featuring sashimi, specialty rolls and other Japanese fare. It currently operates another location in Anaheim. The upcoming Tustin spot will replace RA Sushi.
Jabal Coffee House: Also scheduled for November, Jabal will focus on single-origin, Yemeni coffee, alongside regional pastries and specialty drinks. The cafe plans to serve pastries baked fresh, giving shoppers a place to recharge between errands. Jabal has locations in Michigan, Florida, North Carolina and New York, to name a few. It will move into the site of a the former Vans store.
