In Division 2, Servite and Foothill play each other for the second time this season. Foothill beat Servite 2-0 on March 7.

In Division 4, a pair of Pacific Coast League teams, Woodbridge and Laguna Beach, will meet for the third time this season. Woodbridge defeated Laguna Beach in their two league games, 3-2 on March 11 and 5-4 on March 13.

“Both were well-pitched, well-contested baseball games,” said Woodbridge coach Ryan Brucker.

Woodbridge’s Camacho twins — Caleb and Caden — were important to both wins.

Caleb Camacho’s walk-off single in the bottom of the seventh inning at Windrow Park gave the Warriors the 3-2 win in the league opener for both teams.

Caden Camacho drove in three runs for Woodbridge in a 5-4 win over Laguna Beach two days later.

Caden is the team’s catcher and Caleb plays right field.

The twins, who are seniors, are joined on the team by their brother, Ezra, who is a freshman and the team’s starting second baseman.

Woodbridge (19-10 overall) won the Pacific Coast League championship with a 12-2 league record. Laguna Beach (17-11) finished third in the eight-team Pacific Coast League with a 9-5 record.

The game Tuesday is at Laguna Beach at 3:15 p.m.

In the Foothill-Servite game on March 7, Foothill junior right-hander Caden Lauridsen shut out the Friars on three hits for five innings at Servite. The Knights scored both of their runs in the top of the first inning. They scored on an RBI double by Evan Kim and Aidan Gogley had a single that drove in Kim.

Foothill coach Chris Price said he does not know how much that outcome will matter in the rematch Tuesday at Foothill at 3:15 p.m.

“That game was so long ago,” Price said. “The lineups for both teams are probably different. We’ve had guys go in and out of our lineup, and that might be the same for them.”

The Knights (18-11 overall) finished third in the Crestview League. Servite (16-13) finished third in the Trinity League.
