Anaheim police officers were called to the complex, at 1801 Katella Ave., just before midnight on May 7 and found Michael Bohn of Anaheim unresponsive in the street, Anaheim police Sgt. Jared Dewald said.
Officers attempted to help Bohn until paramedics arrived, Dewald said. He died at the scene.
“The call came out as a fight between three people,” Dewald said. “A red truck was given in the description.”
That truck was seen leaving as officers arrived and the truck was pulled over, Dewald said. The occupants, 19- and 18-year-old men, were arrested.
At the scene, officers found a firearm, but it wasn’t known if Bohn was shot, or if he died from blows sustained during the fight, Dewald said. The coroner’s office will determine how he died.
Bohn lived at the apartment complex, Dewald said. The suspects did not.
What led to the fight was not known.
“It sounds like an isolated incident, and there was some sort of disagreement or disturbance that caused it,” Dewald said.
