1. Orange Lutheran 25-6: The Lancers won their first two CIF-SS playoff games in Division 1 pool play before losing to Norco, 3-0, in the quarterfinals. Orange Lutheran finished second to St. John Bosco in the Trinity League and won the championships of the Boras Classic South and National High School Invitational tournaments.

2. Huntington Beach 22-8-1: The Oilers were 1-2 in Division 1 playoff games, starting with a win over Temecula Valley followed by losses to Harvard-Westlake and La Mirada in the 16-team pool-play format.
3. Cypress 23-9: The Crestview League champions lost to Harvard-Westlake, 2-1, in the Division 1 quarterfinals after an 11-0 win over Sierra Canyon in the third round. Cypress beat Oaks Christian and lost to St. John Bosco in earlier rounds of pool play.

4. Newport Harbor 22-9: The Sailors advanced to the Division 2 semifinals to face Ganesha on Tuesday. They beat Trabuco Hills, 15-1, in the first round and Great Oak, 4-1, in the second round before an 8-0 win over Aquinas in the quarterfinals.

5. Servite 16-14: The Friars beat Costa Mesa, 2-0, in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs before a 3-0 loss to Foothill in the second round.

6. Mater Dei 13-15: The Monarchs did not qualify for the playoffs. They finished fourth in the six-team Trinity League and did not have the .500 overall record to be eligible for an at-large berth in the playoffs.

7. Santa Margarita 16-13: The Eagles routed Rancho Christian, 19-1, in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs before losing to Elsinore, 6-4, in the second round.

8. Villa Park 19-9-1: The Spartans were eliminated by Elsinore, 3-2, in the first round of the Division 2 playoffs. They finished second in the Crestview League

9. Foothill 18-11: The pitching-strong Knights advanced to the Division 2 semifinals to face Loyola on Tuesday. They defeated Yucaipa 3-1 in the quarterfinals. They opened the playoffs with a 2-1 win over Vista Murrieta followed by a 3-0 win over Servite in the second round.

10. JSerra 11-15: The Lions did not qualify for the playoffs. They won their final four games of the regular season including a three-game sweep of Santa Margarita.
