Noteworthy: Floriani won the CIF Southern Section individual golf championship at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard. Floriani shot a 6-under-par 66. He is the first Mater Dei player to win a section individual title. Floriani made six birdies and an eagle to lead qualifying for the CIF-SCGA SoCal Regional at Los Serranos Golf Club. He shot a 1-under 71 in the regional round to advance to the section final.
