He committed to Kansas in early May.<\/p>\n<p>As a junior in 2025, Thomas completed 72 percent of his passes for 3,327 yards and 33 touchdowns.<\/p>\n<p>He earned co-offensive player of the year in the Delta League.<\/p>\n<p>As a sophomore, Thomas threw for 1,736 yards and 17 TDs in his first season at Western.<\/p>\n<p>He arrived at Western from Serra of Gardena.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m happy and proud of everything Chase did for us,\u201d Western coach Dan Davidson said. \u201cI think the world of him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Read more <a href=\"https:\/\/siliconvalleymovingpost.com\/?p=10018\">Derwin James Jr.: Chargers\u2019 contract extension \u2018means the world\u2019<\/a><\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Thomas is the second high-profile Orange County player to transfer to Bishop Gorman in the offseason. Mater Dei wide receiver Gavin Honore (5-10, 180) confirmed his transfer in January.<\/p>\n<p>Last season, Bishop Gorman finished 11-1 and ranked No. 3 in the nation by MaxPreps.<\/p>\n<p>The Gaels\u2019 loss came at home against Mater Dei 27-24.
