Pitts of the Second Baptist Church and Dr. Gloria J Willingham-Toure, a social justice advocate, will participate in the 6 to 9 p.m. Buena Park event, which will also feature live entertainment.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Breeze Band will perform at 7 p.m. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be community vendors and resource booths.<\/p>\n<p>For kids, there will be a special activity area, and there will be a free session of swimming in the park\u2019s pool. There will be music, dancing and cultural performances; local organizations will host booths; there will be a BIPOC marketplace; and there will be food for sale. The event is 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Great Park\u2019s Palm Court Arts Complex. Information: irvinejuneteenth.com<\/p>\n<div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Santa Ana: A celebration in honor of Juneteenth will be held on Saturday, June 20, at Centennial Park with live music and performances, cultural experiences and activities celebrating African American heritage, community organizations and food for sale. The family friendly event will be noon to 6 p.m. Information: oc-hc.org\/events<\/p>\n<p>Irvine: Gospel Voices of OC will be held on June 27 at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. The benefit concert is produced by Arts &amp; Learning Conservatory Founder\/CEO Debora Wondercheck; the conservancy, based in Costa Mesa, offers youth free or low-cost access to arts programs.
