Mother\u2019s Market is open in Dana Point.<\/p>\n

The store at 24040 Camino del Avion welcomed its first shoppers Wednesday, April 29. It\u2019s the 12th store for the Costa Mesa-based grocery store chain.<\/p>

The store at the Monarch Beach Promenade replaced the Monarch Beach Market.<\/p>\n

Last week on social media, Mother\u2019s noted the long line of shoppers who turned out for the grand opening. \u201cDana Point, YOU showed up today!!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Mother\u2019s sells an abundance of organic food, pantry goods and prepared food. The vitamin and wellness section is known for wide variety of supplements.<\/p>\n

Pet store coming to Costa Mesa<\/h4>\n

Kahoots Feed and Pet Store is coming soon to the same shopping center that recently welcomed Costa Mesa\u2019s second Trader Joe\u2019s.<\/p>\n

The store is part of the former 99 Cents Only Store at 2170-2180 Harbor Blvd. (at the intersection with Victoria Street).<\/p>\n

The pet store leased about 7,200 square feet in the shopping center.<\/p>

Kahoots has been selling pet products since 1987. Store employees are called \u201cKahooligans.\u201d Its first feed store opened in 1990 in Moorpark. It\u2019s Ramona store debuted in 1995 and became the company headquarters. It has since expanded from San Diego County to Huntington Beach, Chatsworth, and Riverside County.<\/p>\n
