The Orange County Athletic Directors Association named Jaslene Massey of Aliso Niguel and Trent Mosley of Santa Margarita as the organization\u2019s Orange County Athletes of the Year for 2025-26.<\/p>\n

Massey was the CIF state champion in the shot put and discus. During the track and field season in the spring, she set the national record in the discus with a throw of 196 feet, 4 inches at the state meet.<\/p>\n

During the fall, Mosley was co-offensive MVP in the Trinity League during the football season. He helped the Eagles win the CIF Southern Section Division 1 and CIF State Open Division championship games. He had 10 receptions for 293 yards against Centennial in the CIF-SS Division 1 final and 11 receptions for 183 yards against De La Salle in the CIF State Open Division final.<\/p>\n

Each school year OCADA selects graduating seniors as its boys and girls athletes of the year.<\/p>\n

OCADA also gave its Bill Boswell Distinguished Service Award to Sharon Hodge of the CIF Southern Section. Michael Partida of Orange High received the Gary Tuthill Memorial Trainers Award.<\/p>\n

Also honored at the OCADA awards event at Servite High on June 1 were the Orange County conference and league athletes of the year.<\/p>\n
