The Orange County softball rankings as of Tuesday, May 19.<\/p>\n

Notable this week:<\/strong> La Habra jumps three spots to No. 1 after defeating Los Altos and top-seeded Murrieta Mesa in the first two rounds of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs. The Highlanders are ranked No. 1 for the first time this season. \u2026 Pacifica rises one notch to No. 4 with its 9-8 win in nine inning against Cypress in the second round in Division 1. \u2026 Mater Dei promotes one spot to No. 6 after reaching the Division 2 quarterfinals.<\/p>\n

ORANGE COUNTY SOFTBALL TOP 25<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. La Habra (22-7): <\/strong>Samantha Cervantes pitched a complete game in a 6-4 win against top-seeded Murrieta Mesa in the second round of the Division 1 playoffs. The senior threw four scoreless innings against Los Altos in the first round.<\/p>\n
