It is one of many ways Orange County communities have been marking this year’s big anniversary of the nation’s founding, which have included everything from special tree plantings to choir performances, and will continue during this weekend’s many Fourth of July events.

Walter Knott had Philadelphia’s Independence Hall replicated at the theme park down to the crack in the Liberty Bell. On Wednesday, July 1, it served as a backdrop to the city’s celebration, both it and the crowd festooned in red, white and blue.
