Buena Park girls basketball coach DeAnthony Wiley, who guided the Coyotes to three league titles and a CIF-SS runner-up finish, said he has resigned because of “changes” in the school’s athletics program.

“Changes within the athletics department made it not the right fit anymore,” Wiley said of his resignation after eight seasons.

Buena Park principal Sonje Berg and athletic director Mykeal Terry didn’t immediately respond Monday to a request for comment.

Wiley guided Buena Park to three consecutive undefeated league titles, including the past two in the Empire League.
