The eight-level parking structure has been reduced to seven levels with the size of the garage decreased by approximately 4% to 3.1 million square feet.

The new garage will have 316 electric vehicle charging stations, an increase of approximately 5% from previously-submitted plans.

The garage will feature 18 shade canopies covering 14,000 square feet.

Disneyland began construction in August on the new eastside parking structure and transportation hub that will include a shuttle bus and ride share drop off/pick up area as part of the $1.9 billion DisneylandForward project.

Disneyland has not yet announced an opening date for the garage that is expected to be ready in time for the debut of the Avengers Campus expansion and the Los Angeles Summer Olympics in 2028.

The eastside garage will also help absorb the flood of visitors coming to see the new Avatar themed land, Coco boat ride and reimagined Tomorrowland debuting at the Anaheim theme park resort over the next five years.

The new seven-level parking structure and transportation hub on the east side of the theme park resort will push the existing Disneyland bus drop off/pick up area along Harbor Boulevard to Disneyland’s former Manchester employee parking lot that backs up to the I-5 Freeway.

A pedestrian bridge will connect visitors by foot between Disneyland and Disney California Adventure on the west side of Harbor Boulevard and the new parking structure on the east side of Harbor Boulevard.
