McManus, 35, brings 12 years of NFL experience to Los Angeles. He has made 82% of his 362 career field goals with a long of 61 yards that he set in 2021. He has missed only 10 extra-point attempts in his career out of 384 tries.
He last played for the Green Bay Packers in 2025. He made 24 of 30 field goals that year before missing his two tries in a 31-27 wild-card loss to the Chicago Bears.

McManus will try to bring some stability to the Rams’ kicking situation. The team entered 2026 with Harrison Mevis at the position. But Mevis – who replaced Josh Karty midseason a year ago – missed four of his first nine attempts of the year, including two in a Week 5 overtime loss to the Bills.
He was cut following that game and replaced with Blake Grupe off the Colts’ practice squad. Grupe made his first attempt for the Rams, then tore his ACL making a tackle on the ensuing kickoff return in Sunday’s loss to the Cardinals. The Rams placed him on season-ending injured reserve Monday.
