Noteworthy: The Florida commit pitched shutouts against Pacifica and Norco to lead the Lions to the CIF-SS Division 1 finals for the first time. Escobar tossed a three-hitter with 10 strikeouts in a 1-0 victory at Pacifica in the quarterfinals. She threw a three-hitter with 14 strikeouts in a 2-0 win at defending champion Norco in the semifinals.
