San Antonio Catholic Church’s annual Fiesta, themed “We Are Family” this year is coming up on Sept. 18.

The Fiesta continues throughout that weekend on the church campus and promises to be another fun-filled event.
Among the scheduled activities are games, carnival rides, live entertainment, food booths, Bingo and an exciting silent auction.
Pre-sale ride and Fiesta Buck tickets are available and may be purchased through the church website by Sept. 25, and picked-up in the church Conference Room 1 by 4 p.m., Sept.18. Pre-sale tickets are also available following each Mass on Sept. 12 and13.
Fiesta hours are 5 to 10 p.m., Sept. 18; 2 to 10 p.m., Sept 19; and 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sept 20. Additional information/event scheduled times are available on the church website sanantoniochurch.org or call 714-974-2053.
Eat and help the Woman’s Club help others
Lazy Dog Restaurant in Orange will host a “Dine and Make a Difference” fundraising event benefiting the Woman’s Club of Orange all day from Sept. 28 through Oct. 1.
Those wishing to participate can simply download a copy of the flyer from the Woman’s Club website and present it to the server when an order is placed. The nonprofit receives 15% from all food and drink orders, which will support the organization’s many philanthropies. This applies to take-out orders using the code 01Orange and mentioning the club’s name when ordering.

Youth group gatherings at Canyon Hills Presbyterian
The Fall Youth Group at Canyon Hills Presbyterian Church kicks off Sept. 13 in the church Fellowship Hall. All kids in the community are welcome.
Kids in grades three through six will meet at 5 p.m. for games, activities, Bible lessons and peer interaction.
At 6 p.m., all youth group participants in grades 3-12, together with their family members, are invited to gather together for a shared meal.
Seventh- through 12th-grade youth group follows at 6:30 p.m., with games, activities, bible lesson and small group discussions. The evening concludes at 7:30 p.m.
Fall Youth Group continues Sunday evenings through Dec. 13.

Fun at the Anaheim Hills library branches
Canyon Hills Library will host a “Cooking with Chef Vina” at 3 p.m. on Sept.18.
Chef Vina will be cooking and sharing her classic one-pan balsamic chicken and veggies dish and will offer the opportunity cook alongside her. Supplies are limited.

Save the date for a fun and unique fundraising event, “Flamingo Bingo — Purse Extravaganza” on Oc. 9 at the Placentia Round Table Women’s Club venue.
This 6 to 9 p.m. event, sponsored by the Littlest Angel Guild, will feature a catered box dinner from Sally Ann’s Catering, bingo games, opportunities to win designer purses and a drawing for fun-themed experience packages.
Tickets are $65 per person and benefit the Heart Institute and The Cherese Mari Laulhere Child Life Department at Rady’s Children Health of Orange County (formerly CHOC).

Don’t forget the 47th annual Dozynki Harvest Festival is coming up this month at the Saint John Paull II Polish Center in Yorba Linda.
