The Disneyland resort will close six attractions for seasonal refurbishments during the Halloween season as the Anaheim theme park prepares for the busy winter holidays.

It’s a Small World, “Bluey’s Best Day Ever,” Sailing Ship Columbia, Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes, Pixie Hollow and “Fantasmic” will temporarily close in October for standard refurbishments and as part of seasonal schedules at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.

The six new attraction closures join Indiana Jones Adventure and the Mad Tea Party, which were already shuttered for refurbishment.
It’s a Small World will close on Oct. 30 to install the winter holiday overlay with the Disneyland boat ride expected to reopen on Nov. 13.
“Bluey’s Best Day Ever” in the Fantasyland Theatre has moved to a seasonal schedule with the Disneyland show based on the Australian children’s TV series dark Tuesdays and Wednesdays on Oct. 6-7, Oct. 13-14, Oct. 20-21 and Oct. 27-28.
The “Fantasmic” nighttime spectacular on Disneyland’s Rivers of America will be dark on Oct. 1, Oct. 4-8, Oct. 13-15, Oct. 19-22 and Oct. 26-29 as daily showtimes during the summer season come to an end.

Traffic on the Rivers of America at Disneyland will be disrupted with the Sailing Ship Columbia and the Davy Crockett’s Explorer Canoes out of commission in October.
The Columbia will be out of service on Oct. 1-2, Oct. 5-9 and Oct. 12-16. The human-powered canoes will be closed on Oct. 1, Oct. 4-8 and Oct. 12-15.
Pixie Hollow in Fantasyland will be closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays in October (Oct. 1, 6, 8, 13, 15, 20, 22, 27, 29). The Disneyland character meet-and-greet area recently completed a 10-month refurbishment.
The Indiana Jones Adventure motion-based platform dark ride in Adventureland has been closed since early September for an extended refurbishment expected to stretch through at least early November.
The Mad Tea Party tea cups ride in Fantasyland is undergoing an extended refurbishment expected to continue through at least early November.
