The Disneyland resort has raised food and beverage prices on more than 800 items an average of 8% at 178 dining locations at the theme parks and resort hotels, according to Mickey Visit.

Overall, price increases ranged from 1.5% to 23%, according to Mickey Visit.

The average 8% increase worked out to approximately 62 cents more per item, according to Mickey Visit.

Disneyland continually evaluates and adjusts restaurant offerings and prices, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland’s updated food and beverage prices are aligned with the industry and lower than its competitors on many items, according to Disneyland officials.

Disneyland usually raises food and beverage prices during the summer season with last year’s hike also taking place in July, according to Mickey Visit.

Quick-service restaurants saw the biggest price spikes, according to Mickey Visit. The Wedge Salad at Boardwalk Pizza & Pasta now costs $2.80 more — a 23% increase.

Popular snacks like churros, popcorn, soft serve ice cream, funnel cakes and Mickey beignets saw price hikes of 7% to 15%, according to Mickey Visit. Bakery and dessert items increased an average of 9%.

Beverages saw incremental increases across the board, according to Mickey Visit. Bottled drinks went up about 25 cents. Coffee, tea and other hot beverages increased about 75 cents. Cocktail prices rose about $1 to $2 per drink.

Many of the price increases amounted to a dollar or less per item.

“This will quickly add up for families purchasing meals throughout the day,” according to Mickey Visit.

Not all food and beverage prices increased across the Disneyland resort. The Bluey kids meal with a mini hot dog, mandarin orange and drink at Troubadour Tavern still costs $6.

Disneyland did not raise prices on any kids meals across the resort as part of the latest menu updates, according to Mickey Visit.

Disneyland quick-service restaurants and food stands are hardly alone when it comes to passing higher food prices onto consumers.

Restaurant menu prices are up 3.5% over the past year and 35% since 2020, according to the National Restaurant Association. The NRA blames inflation-driven costs for the price hikes, with food up 35% and labor up 39% compared to pre-pandemic levels.
