Ohana Festival will celebrate its 10th anniversary at Doheny State Beach in Dana Point this weekend, Sept. 25-27, with three days of music led by Eddie Vedder & Friends, Tyler Childers and Pearl Jam.

Curated by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder, the annual beachside festival will also feature Maná, Alabama Shakes, Fontaines D.C., Billy Idol, Pixies, Jon Batiste, Bad Religion, Rilo Kiley and more across the Ohana and Tiki stages.
Beyond the music, the festival will once again bring its Storytellers program to The Cove, along with art, environmental programming, food and several on-site activations.
Before heading down to Dana Point, here’s what fans should know about set times, parking, the bag policy and more.
Lineup and set times
Eddie Vedder & Friends will headline the opening night of the festival on Friday, Sept. 25, following sets from Maná, Billy Idol, Bad Religion, Courtney Barnett and others.
Saturday will be capped by Tyler Childers, with Alabama Shakes and Jon Batiste among the day’s performers. Pearl Jam will close out the festival Sunday following performances by Fontaines D.C., Pixies, Rilo Kiley and The Format.

Storytellers and festival experiences
Music isn’t the only thing on the schedule at Ohana.
The festival’s Storytellers program returns to The Cove with talks and programming built around six of Ohana’s core pillars: oceans, activism, environmental justice, art, community and Indigenous voices. This year’s speakers include Adelia Sandoval, spiritual overseer and cultural director for the Juaneño Band of Mission Indians/Acjachemen Nation; marine scientist Amber Carter; and photographer and director Atiba Jefferson, among others.
Festivalgoers can also visit The Cove Gallery for artwork or explore several activations across the grounds, including the CELSIUS Lounge, the Ford Mustang Mach-E Film Experience and the Sunset Social Lounge, which will feature shaded seating, a full bar and customizable leather koozies.
Food and drinks
Fans will have plenty of options between sets, with food vendors serving pizza, barbecue, Hawaiian and Asian cuisine, burgers, sandwiches, desserts and more.
Among this year’s vendors are Spicy Pie, Island Noodles, Kalikos Hawaiian, East Bloom, Delanya’s Texas BBQ, Toum Boom, Chicken Bucket, Miss Mini Donuts & Coffee and Vedder Ice Cream.

The festival’s food listings also identify vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options, though availability varies by vendor.
Parking and getting there
Parking at Ohana is limited, and passes must be purchased in advance. There will be no on-site parking pass sales.
General parking is located at the Dana Point Harbor Marina Parking Structure, 34571 Golden Lantern in Dana Point. Premium parking is located at 25325 Dana Point Harbor Drive. For attendees who don’t secure a parking pass, organizers recommend checking local parking options around Dana Point, carpooling or using public transportation.
What can you bring?
Ohana has a clear bag policy, though smaller non-clear bags are permitted.
Small clutch purses and fanny packs measuring 6 inches by 9 inches or smaller do not need to be clear but can have no more than one pocket. Larger bags must be clear and smaller than 12 inches by 6 inches by 12 inches. Hydration packs are also permitted and do not need to be clear, but they must enter the festival empty and can have no more than two pockets.
Empty refillable water bottles are allowed as long as they aren’t glass. Attendees can also bring non-aerosol sunscreen, portable batteries, small wooden parasols, raincoats or ponchos and standard non-professional cameras without detachable lenses.
Because Ohana takes place along the beach, there’s another important rule to remember: standard-size beach towels measuring no more than 60 inches by 30 inches are permitted in designated areas on a first-come, first-served basis, but only until approximately 4 p.m. The designated areas will transition to standing room as the festival fills up, and organizers note that the timing is subject to change.
Frameless, non-metal folding stadium cushions are allowed, but beach chairs, high-back chairs, hammocks and other lounging equipment are prohibited. Umbrellas, outside food and drinks and coolers are also not allowed.
