Orange County home prices dipped in 38% of its ZIP codes over the last two years, according to Attom.

The report takes a longer-term view than usual: Tracking 84 local ZIP codes and how their sales fared in the 12 months ending in April compared with the previous 12 months.

The median selling price was up in 51 ZIPs and down in 32. One was unchanged. The priciest ZIP was Newport Coast 92657, with a median price of $5.5 million. The cheapest was Laguna Woods 92637’s $519,000 median.

Sales were up in 47 ZIPs, down in 35, and two were unchanged. The busiest ZIP was Laguna Niguel 92677 with 809 sales.

Overall, the countywide median of $1.22 million was up 2% in this period. Total sales of 2,154 were up 1%.
