A man is dead after a disturbance at a bikini bar in Orange on Saturday night.

At about 11 p.m. on Sept. 12, Orange Police Department officers responded to a report of an unconscious man in the parking lot of Bikini in a Bottle 2, a bikini bar at 1535 W. Chapman Avenue.

According to a department post on Facebook, officers found a 39-year-old man with head injuries in the parking lot. The man was reportedly unresponsive. Although Orange Police and Orange Fire Department personnel provided him medical aid, he was ultimately pronounced dead at the scene.

The man was reportedly involved in a disturbance with bar patrons before he was removed by the bar’s security team. The man then reportedly attempted to go back inside before getting into an altercation with a security guard. During the altercation, the man was reportedly hit in the head once by the guard, causing the man to fall to the ground.

Officers are still investigating the death and no arrests have been made.

The security guard remained at the scene and reportedly cooperated with the investigation.

The dead man’s identity has not been released, as the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner’s Office attempts to notify the man’s family.
