A Newport Coast estate once rented by Mexican music sensation Peso Pluma is on the market for just under $14 million.

Sited on nearly a quarter-acre lot in the guard-gated Coastal Canyon community, the extensively renovated 2001 Spanish-style residence spans 5,200 square feet with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. While the front facade maintains a traditional look framed by a modern Mediterranean landscape, the rear of the home gives way to folding glass walls.

Records show A&K Spectrum Center LLC, managed by a local endodontist, purchased the property for $3.15 million in April 2018.

The estate is near Pelican Hill Resort, Crystal Cove and Fashion Island. Nearby dining includes Javier’s, the Mexican restaurant where a fan posted a video of Peso Pluma and his then-girlfriend, singer Kenia Os, holding hands back in 2025.
Reports in August 2023 indicated that Peso Pluma signed a one-year lease on the property for $45,000 a month. Redfin sales history shows it had previously listed for $40,000 a month, but Ashkon Babaee of Ashkon Real Estate Group declined to confirm the rent or lease dates.
Babaee, who shares the listing with his wife, Asal Rose, would say only that “Peso Pluma lived here.”
Peso Pluma is the stage name of 27-year-old singer-songwriter and record producer Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija. The Jalisco native specializes in corridos tumbados, a modern style of Mexican music that blends folk ballads with hip-hop beats. He rose to international fame in 2023 with “Ella Baila Sola,” a collaboration with the California-based regional Mexican group Eslabón Armado. He won a Grammy Award in 2024 for Best Música Mexicana Album for “Génesis,” his third studio release.
