1. JSerra 1-0 (1): The Lions opened their season with a 14-13 win in triple sudden-death overtime at La Jolla last week. Andrew Schneider shared the team-high for goals with three, including the winner. Aleksandar Bjelica also had three goals as JSerra beat the reigning CIF San Diego Open Division champion. The Lions play at Oaks Christian on Thursday.
2. Newport Harbor 2-1 (2): Owen Marks netted three goals in a 12-10 loss against visiting Cathedral Catholic last week. The score was tied 8-8 late in the third period.
3. Santa Margarita 1-1 (3): The Eagles forfeited a victory against Crean Lutheran on Aug. 19 because of an administrative error, Santa Margarita athletic director Donald Evans confirmed. The Eagles are the top seed for the Villa Park Classic next week.
4. Corona del Mar 2-1 (4): The Sea Kings lost at Long Beach Wilson 8-7 last week. Corona del Mar had won 11 consecutive matches against the Bruins in a streak that began in 2022. Corona del Mar is the top seed and defending champion for the Santa Barbara Invitational next week.
5. Laguna Beach 5-2 (5): Dane Seybold netted three goals in a 10-7 victory at San Juan Hills on Tuesday. The Breakers won their final three matches at the Long Beach Poly tournament after falling to champion La Jolla and Long Beach Wilson.
6. Beckman 0-2 (6): The Patriots play host to Yucaipa (4-0) on Thursday in search of their first victory. Beckman continued to show its potential in a 17-14 loss in overtime to Harvard-Westlake last week.

7. Mater Dei 2-3 (7): The Monarchs fell at Westlake 11-10 on Tuesday. Mater Dei lost at The Bishop’s 20-7 on Saturday.
8. San Juan Hills 0-2 (8): The Stallions will seek their first win Thursday when they play host to Foothill in a clash of county-ranked teams.
9. Foothill 4-0 (10): The Knights play host to Carlsbad on Wednesday in their home-opener.
10. San Clemente 1-2 (not ranked): The Tritons knocked off previously No. 10-ranked Huntington Beach 9-7 on Tuesday.
