Noteworthy: Matavao, an outside hitter committed to UCLA, recorded 15 kills and eights digs to help the Monarchs sweep Marymount 25-11, 25-21 in the finals of the Dave Mohs Memorial Tournament. Matavao, who was selected tournament MVP, also had 15 kills against Long Beach Poly in the semifinals. She leads the Monarchs (13-0) in kills (132), digs (111) and is tied for the lead in aces (21).
