1. JSerra 9-0 (1): Kate Meier passed for a season-high 438 yards and six touchdowns, and rushed for two scores, in a 52-26 win at Torrey Pines last week. The Lions ride a 37-game winning streak into a nonleague game against visiting Santiago of Corona (5-2) on Wednesday.
2. Newport Harbor 8-1 (2): Skylie Cid heated up last week after missing the Chargers tournament. The junior rushed for a touchdown in a win against Woodbridge and caught a score in a victory against Edison. She added a sack against Edison.
3. Orange Lutheran 7-1 (4): Capri Cuneo nabbed her 10th interception in a 34-0 win against Trabuco Hills. The Mustangs were shutout for the first time in program history.
4. Woodbridge 7-3 (7): Delia Stone passed for 227 yards and four touchdowns, and rushed for 78 yards and one score, in a 40-27 win against Beckman last week.
5. Corona del Mar 6-1 (8): Addison Stern contributed on offense and defense in a 20-18 upset of Huntington Beach in the Sunset League last week. She tossed two touchdowns, recorded three sacks and had an interception.

6. Huntington Beach 4-2 (3): The Oilers will aim to bounce back from a 20-18 loss against Corona del Mar when they play Fountain Valley and Edison this week in the Sunset League. Huntington Beach showed progress by leading Torrey Pines 20-0 before the game was postponed due to heat.
7. Beckman 7-1 (6): The Patriots play host to Foothill and St. Joseph on Monday and Tuesday to open a challenging week.
8. Trabuco Hills 4-4 (9): The Mustangs play host to Corona del Mar on Tuesday night in the teams’ second meeting. CdM edged Trabuco Hills 13-12 on Aug. 15.
9. Tesoro 8-3 (10): The Titans, led by their duo of Chloe Gillis and Jenna Tuttle, play at Santa Margarita on Thursday night.
10. El Toro 4-2 (not ranked): The Chargers and new coach Thomas Ballogg break into the Top 10 after cooling off Santa Margarita 25-15 in the El Toro tournament on Saturday. The Eagles were coming off an 19-13 upset of then-No. 5 Edison. El Toro also beat Centennial 30-14 on Saturday.
