A man at a Park & Ride lot in Fullerton was stabbed just before 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23, and was reported to be in critical condition, police said.

Officers responded to a call at 10:39 a.m. of an assault with a deadly weapon at the Orange County Transportation Authority Park & Ride lot at 3000 West Orangethorpe Ave., near the 5 and 91 freeways.

The man had been stabbed with a knife or some other sharp object, Fullerton police spokesperson Kristy Wells said.

The attacker remained at large as of mid-afternoon.

The Park & Ride offers free parking, 24-hour access, and regular connections to local Orange County buses. Many use it to catch the bus to Disneyland and more recently to the OC Fair.

The victim’s name was not released.
