The celebration will begin at 8 p.m. Dec. 31 aboard the historic ocean liner, with VIP guests admitted at 7 p.m., according to organizers.

The event will draw on the ship’s art deco heritage and Hollywood’s golden age, with guests encouraged to dress up and wear masquerade masks. Live entertainment, music, dancing, cocktails and other activities will be offered throughout the ship’s ballrooms, lounges and entertainment spaces, organizers said.

“Last year’s masquerade celebration was incredibly well received, and we knew we wanted to bring that magic back while creating something fresh and exciting for our guests,” Queen Mary Managing Director Steve Caloca said. “Our Glitz & Glamour Masquerade takes everything guests loved about last year’s event and elevates it with a new level of elegance, entertainment and surprises.”
