Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile will be passing through Orange and Los Angeles counties in coming days, according to one of its traveling companions.

Spokesperson Lauren Tripeer, a “Hotdogger” who travels with the vehicle, released the following schedule.
Gardena: 12-4 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at Albertson’s, 1735 Artesia Blvd.
Fountain Valley: 12-4 p.m. Friday, July 24 at Albertson’s, 16061 Brookhurst St.
Arcadia: 3-9 p.m. Saturday, July 25 at Subiefest, a festival for Subaru enthusiasts at Santa Anita Park, 285 W. Huntington Drive.
Tripeer is an Orange County native who lives in Palm Desert. She is a recent graduate of Chapman University.
The Wienermobile is a 90-year tradition for the meat company, which is a subsidiary of the Kraft Heinz Company. It introduced its first version of a “hot dog on wheels” in 1936, according to an Oscar Mayer fact sheet.
Today’s Wienermobiles are 11 feet tall, 27 feet long and 8 feet wide with hot dog-shaped dashboards.

Appearances will include games, coupons, and a handout of Oscar Mayer’s Wiener Whistles, according to Tripeer.
These events aren’t showing on Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile locator, but Tripeer said that is due to a technical glitch.
In more hot dog news, Wienerschnitzel has opened what it calls its first-ever location on a military base, according to a news release from the Irvine-based fast food chain.
The location, which resembles a mall concession, is at Naval Base San Diego and serves authorized patrons including service members, civilian employees, and families. It is part of Wienerschnitzel’s strategy to find nontraditional ways to “meet customers where they already are,” chief development officer David Winter says in the news release.
