One person died in a collision on the 91 Freeway Wednesday when two vehicles became engulfed in flames.

Two sedans collided around 1:09 a.m. Wednesday on the 91 Freeway near the Green River Road offramp, a California Highway Patrol spokesperson said.
One vehicle was blocking traffic lanes and was struck by the other vehicle, the CHP said.
The mainline 1, 2 and 3 lanes were closed and a SigAlert was issued for 91 Freeway near the Green River Road offramp until further notice.

Video from the scene shows the two wrecked and burnt vehicles being examined by sheriff’s deputies.
No further information on any other people involved in the collision was immediately available.
