Sport: Flag football
Year: Sophomore
Noteworthy: Russell had five catches for 108 yards and two touchdowns, and she broke up a pass, to lead the Lions past Newport Harbor 21-6 in the final of the inaugural MaxPreps Flag Football Showdown. The wide receiver/safety finished the two-day event with 25 receptions for 394 yards and four touchdowns, and two interceptions on defense. She was selected tournament MVP.
