1. JSerra 15-0 (1): Tessa Russell earned tournament MVP and Kate Meier took offensive MVP as the Lions captured the inaugural MaxPreps Flag Football Showdown. The Lions ride a 43-game winning streak into their Trinity League game at Mater Dei on Tuesday.

2. Newport Harbor 14-2 (2): Junior Scarlett Guyser won defensive MVP in the Sailors’ runner-up finish in the MaxPreps tournament.
3. Orange Lutheran 14-1 (3): The Lancers went 3-0 in the MaxPreps tournament, including a win against Sierra Canyon, but missed the semifinals because of point differential.
4. Woodbridge 10-4 (4): Sophomore Loghan Everett entered the week with 109 catches for 1,371 yards and 23 TDs.
5. Corona del Mar 9-2 (5): The Sea Kings play host to Newport Harbor (Monday) and JSerra (Wednesday) this week.

6. Huntington Beach 8-3 (6): Freshman Kyla Uno collected three sacks against Newport Harbor in the semifinals of the MaxPreps tournament to push her total to 20. Huntington Beach plays at Newport Harbor on Wednesday in a Sunset League tilt.
7. Beckman 13-2 (7): The Patriots play at Aliso Niguel on Thursday in their South Coast League opener.
8. Trabuco Hills 7-4 (8): The Mustangs nabbed four interceptions in a 13-6 win against Aliso Niguel in their South Coast League opener last week.
9. Mission Viejo (7-0): The Diablos defeated Santa Margarita 22-13 to claim the El Toro tournament on Saturday. Leah Vanderveen had a touchdown and 2-point conversion.
10. Santa Margarita 6-6 (10): Ella Palmer tossed seven touchdown passes over three games Saturday in the El Toro tournament to give her 25.
